Bump Pictures with the Family

My friend posted on Facebook that she had a friend wanting to build her portfolio for her new photography business and needed pregnant ladies for a free photo shoot. Luckily, I had just the belly to help out and love free pictures!
Annabelle peeking to see what's underneath.
We love this little girl with her big blue eyes and smile.
The picture below is one of Robert's favorite photos from the shoot, we think it deserves a walk out song. HA! Annabelle's serious side - watch out for the Fountains - we're coming your way.
Family
"Hello, brother are you in there? Let me give you some pointers and tell you how things go around here."
She was really nice to take our photos and I am so grateful that we happened to fall into this opportunity because I had been wanting some family photos.

As for my pregnancy, things are going well. As I write this post today (much more along than in these pictures) I am currently 37 weeks. That means baby is officially full term and can come any day now! I wake up often through the night to either go to the restroom or to turn over because my legs have gone numb. I definitely feel him moving, mostly rolling around on my right side underneath my ribs and across my tummy. As for cravings, I don't usually get any weird ones, but I've been eating a lot of french fries and sweets (cookies, ice cream, etc.) with this pregnancy. VERY healthy! As a result, I've gained a little bit more weight with this pregnancy, which I am sure I will appreciate after this is over and I have to work it off. It's been strange how similar this pregnancy has been to mine with Annabelle. I have kankles and swollen fingers again, making my feet and joints hurt. This means I get to wear a fake wedding ring, which has been fun because people compliment it a lot and I feel like I just got engaged again. Haha. It also means I have only two pairs of shoes that fit, flip flops and tennis shoes pulled as loose as they go. The one thing different about this pregnancy is that he is head down as opposed to being breech like Annabelle. However, around 30 weeks he was breech as well and we were thinking that I have special skills for making breech babies. To my complete surprise he did in fact turn! I will have an ultrasound next week to confirm his position, but if he stays head down,  I will be trying for a VBAC instead of a scheduled c-section. I have until 41 weeks to go into labor naturally, so wish us luck! As you will read in my upcoming post, I quit my job. I quit a few weeks early because I wanted to soak up all the time I could with this little one before we adjust to life with two little ones. We are having a great time hanging out together and just counting down the days until baby brother arrives.
Happiness and love.
Smooches
We're excited and cannot wait to meet this baby boy.

Surprise!

Before we left Jacksonville, I was told we would stop in at Beth and Charlie's house for a lunch gathering. However, it was a Baby Shower Brunch instead! I was with most of these people all weekend for the wedding, so I was shocked to see that they made time to fit in a little shower for us. It was so cute and fun.
Not to mention, the food was also delicious. I don't get many showers thrown for me, so it meant a lot that they would take the time to do this and I ended up getting pretty much all the last outstanding items I had on my "to-buy" list, which I was very thankful for because shopping is not so easy these days. People were encouraged to bring presents that started with a "B" for boy.
The group.
Annabelle and Lucas - he's such a sweet baby.
 Friends and babies!
Next time we will be in Jacksonville we will have another little baby in tow, not just in the belly.

Austin and Mel's Wedding

I know they say rain is good luck on your wedding day, which we had some of that, but what about finding a baby duck?
Prior to us leaving for St. Augustine, where Austin and Mel's wedding was held, the boys found "Rubber" on the side of the road on their way home from golfing while the girls were getting pedicures and patiently waiting for them to come home so we could hit the road. They quickly set "Rubber" free in the backyard pond before we hit the road.
It was fun getting to spend some time in St. Augustine. The first night there we attended the rehearsal dinner at O.C. White's Seafood & Spirits hosted by Robert's parents.
It was a fun night gathering with family and friends.
I think Kathy started rethinking her seat selection after trying to keep busy-bee Annabelle entertained. :) They were fun to watch.
Enjoying a yummy dinner!
Following dinner we went out on the town and explored a bit. We ended up at a delicious waffle dessert house where we indulged in the most yummy strawberry and ice cream sugar covered waffle. Others bought fun and unique popsicles. If things weren't sweet enough already, we also got to watch Austin and Mel exchange their pre-wedding gifts. They're so cute! Afterward, Robert and I headed back to our hotel room to call it a night.
However, we took the long way back on purpose and took a little stroll of our own on the Bridge of Lions to see these impressive pirate ships.
Annabelle was zonked out at this point.

WEDDING DAY!
The next day we headed to the beautiful Cathedral in St. Augustine where we were able to watch Austin and Mel get married. Well, Annabelle and I saw only parts - we also saw parts of St. Augustine as we went for a walk around the cathedral to pass the time. Luckily, we were able to catch the "good parts" like Mel walking down the aisle, the kiss, and the announcement of the married couple.
It was a beautiful setting and we enjoyed learning the history of the cathedral and town. If you want a full glimpse of the special day you can view a slideshow here.
The bridal party and cute couple.
Robert was the best man in this fine group of groomsmen.
The decor. They went for a medical theme since they are both in the medical field. I thought the funniest part was the table assignments. You were given your name and designated to a table marked by human body parts and they had funny captions for each one. For example, EKG: "The ones who have rhythm."
 Introducing MR. & MRS. Fountain
Annabelle loved dancing - she was hilarious to watch on the dance floor.
It was a fun and busy night as we socialized, danced, ate, and ran around chasing Annabelle.
I just love happily ever afters...

Other April Happenings

In April, Robert travelled to NYC for a work event and was able to squeeze in some sightseeing as well.
He woke up early to attend the Today Show, a morning ritual we once had before starting/leaving for work.
As part of the conference, he got to tour Yankee Stadium and go on the field.
He looks like a natural in the dugout. ;)
Here he is sitting in Commissioner Bud Selig's office.
Meanwhile back at home, Annabelle and I played dress up.
She entertains me in the kitchen while I am cooking dinner. She loves this bucket. Annabelle stew coming right up!
Annabelle has become very helpful around the house and wants to help with chores like vacuuming, sweeping, and unloading the dishwasher.
Going to the store is quite the chore with her these days because she wants to be in the action - not in her stroller! We were making everyone laugh because she loves trying on sunglasses. She was very entertained and we had a good time even if we didn't get much shopping completed.
Lookin' good little girl! She's one fashionable lady. ;)
