Nine years ago, I took a cruise with my best friend and her family that changed my life.
Robert Fountain entered my life the very first day of that cruise and never left. :)
Summer love.
Four summers later we were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple.
This month, we happily celebrated our five year anniversary. It rained all day as Tropical Storm Andrea passed through, but we made the best of it. With our busy lives these days, working and raising little Miss Annabelle, we decided the best way to celebrate was to both take the day off of work and stay home to just be together. Due to the rain, we spent the day inside with a blanket picnic on the floor where we ate, watched the news coverage of the storm and a movie, and played with Annabelle. Later that evening we went out for a nice dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
After a college graduation for Robert and a new job for JoAnna,
one little apartment,
a move and drive across country,
three years of law school,
a new life in Florida,
many Disney World adventures,
a memorable trip to Europe,
a job in baseball for Robert,
many date nights,
a law school graduation and Bar Exam passage,
a second trip to Europe,
and becoming a family of three,
I couldn't be happier. I loved our journey so far and I'm excited for the many adventures that still await us.
